First Phase of KJP Plus Funds has Been Disbursed

Starting Tuesday (9/14), Jakarta Government through Jakarta Education Agency distributed the first phase of KJP Plus funds for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus holders.

Total 859,468 students will receive the first phase of KJP Plus funds in 2021

Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik)'s Education Operation and Personal Funding Service Center Unit (P4OP) Head, Waluyo mentioned, first phase of KJP Plus funds disbursement was carried out in stages and the value varied, depending on level of education. The amount of funds received by SD/SDLB/MI students is Rp 250,000. While Rp 300,000 for SMP/SMPLB/MTs/PKBM students, Rp 420,000 for SMA/SMALB/MA students, and Rp 450,000 for SMK students.

"Total 859,468 students will receive the first phase of KJP Plus funds in 2021. They are from public and private schools. The fund disbursed is Rp 264,757,140,000," he said, Tuesday (9/14).

In detail, Rp 108,443,250,000 will be disbursed for students in elementary (SD) and equivalent education level; Rp 67,372,200,000 for students in junior high (SMP) and equivalent education level; and Rp 88,941,690,000 for students in high school (SMA) and equivalent education level.

He hopes the funds can be used properly by parents to buy school equipment or supplies. Not to buy something that has nothing to do with their child's school needs.
